Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on suttonroff.co.uk, why we use them, and how you can control them. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember information about your visit — like your preferences, the pages you've seen, or whether you've already accepted certain content. Some cookies are set by us (first-party cookies), others by third-party services we use (third-party cookies).
We also use related technologies such as localStorage (which stores small amounts of data in your browser) and tracking pixels in emails. For simplicity, we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.
2. Your choices
When you first visit our site, a banner appears at the bottom of the screen asking you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are always on (the site can't function without them). For everything else, you choose.
You can change your mind any time by clicking "Manage cookies" in the footer of any page. You can also clear cookies entirely through your browser settings.

Third-party services we link to
When you click through to an external service from our site, that service may set its own cookies. We don't control these. The main ones are:
- Calendly — when you book a call. Calendly's privacy notice.
- WhatsApp — when you click the WhatsApp button. WhatsApp's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — used to render typography on our pages. Counts as strictly-necessary on most analyses, but set as a third-party request.
4. How to control cookies
- Use our banner — accept or reject categories on first visit, or click "Manage cookies" in the footer to revisit your choices.
- Browser settings — every modern browser lets you block, delete, or restrict cookies. Help pages: Chrome · Firefox · Safari · Edge.
- Opt out of Google Ads tracking — visit adssettings.google.com.
- "Do Not Track" signals — we honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where your browser sends them.
Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break the site (forms won't submit, preferences won't save). Blocking analytics or marketing cookies will not affect your ability to use the site — you'll just see less relevant advertising elsewhere on the web.
5. Changes to this policy
If we add, remove or change the cookies we use, we'll update the table above and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will trigger the consent banner to reappear so you can re-confirm your choices.
